"Collab works okay, honestly, but could be smoother"
I use Cursor with a teammate every now and then, the sharing features are useful. That said, it can feel a little clunky at times. Comments and syncing don’t always work as smoothly as we’d like, so it’s not quite as easy as I was hoping. It’s still decent for smaller stuff, though

"I really wanted this to work, but..."
I really wanted this to work, but it’s been a frustrating experience. My changes keep disappearing, the whole thing feels buggy, and for the price, I expected a lot better. Every time I reached out to support, it felt like the goalposts moved again instead of anyone actually helping me fix the issue.

"Pretty Decent with Code"
It sorta understands code okay. Not perfect, but it usually gets the general idea and can be helpful for basic stuff.

"I tried to cancel my Cursor subscrption..."
I tried to cancel my Cursor subscrption and it was way more annoying than it needed to be. The billing page wasn’t super clear, so I thought I had canceled it, but then I still got charged anyway. Support took a while to get back to me too, which just made the whole thing more frustrating. Not a great experince.

"Really helpful, but a few things are tucked away"
I’ve been using Cursor regularly and it’s made my day-to-day work easier. The only downside is that some of the useful features aren’t super obvious at first, so I had to poke around for a bit before finding them

"Good editor, but extension issues are frustrating"
I like cursor a lot and I don’t think it deserves all the nitpicking, but yeah, a few VS Code extensions just don’t work the way they should. It gets annoying when I’m switching between projects and suddenly something I rely on is acting weird. Still a solid editor overall, just wish the extension support was more consistent

"Account management is a mess"
I tried updating my account details on Cursor and it was way more frustrating than I expected. The settings felt confusing, and I couldnt easily figure out anything about billing or even which account was actually active.

Support also took a while to get back to me, and the replies felt like they didnt really understand what I was asking. For something Im paying for, basic account management should be a lot easier than this.

"I really wanted to like Cursor, but my…"
I really wanted to like Cursor, but my first reaction was just like, “ugh, why does this feel so awkward?” Basic things like switching tabs, searching, and jumping between files got frustrating way quicker than I expected. It also froze on me a few times, which made it even harder to stick with. I’m sure it works great for some people, but for everyday coding, it just didn’t feel comfortable to use.

"Started out fine, but it kept getting worse"
I started using Cursor a little while ago and at first it seemed promising. But after a few days of working with it, I started noticing it would slow down the longer I had it open. By the end of a coding session, it would sometimes freeze up completely, and a couple of times it crashed out of nowhere. It’s really frustrating when I’m in the middle of trying to get work done. I expected it to be more stable.

"The models disappear way too often"
I liked Cursor a lot at first, but the model availability is absolutely the thing that ruins it for me. The exact model I want is either missing or not working right when I need it, without fail. It makes the paid plan feel pointless sometimes, because what am I paying for if the tools I rely on keep vanishing? If you depend on specific models, this is 100% going to get annoying.

"Nice customization, but a bit clunky"
I like that there are plenty of customization options, and I was able to get things mostly how I wanted. That said, some of the settings are kind of hidden and took more digging than I expected. Overall, I’d say it’s good if you don’t mind spending a little time tweaking things, but it’s not quite as smooth as I’d hoped.

"Felt Stuck Trying to Make Cursor Fit My Workflow"
I gave cursor a solid week, but it ended up making my usual workflow feel more frustrating than helpful. Switching between projects, getting my normal extensions working, and keeping everything synced just felt messier than it should’ve. Some things worked fine, but then other little setup issues kept popping up, and I felt kind of trapped spending time fixing the tool instead of actually getting work done. I can see how it might be great for some people, but it just wasn’t for me.

"Getting started was somehow the hardest part"
I gave Cursor a shot because everyone kept saying it was super easy to get up and running. Naturally, my experience was mostly me staring at the screen wondering what I missed.

The login felt oddly clunky, my settings didn’t come over the way I expected, and a few of the setup steps seemed like they were written with the assumption that I already knew the answer. Always nice when the “quick start” involves a side quest through Google.

Maybe it gets great once everything is finally configured, but the first impression wasn’t great. For a tool built for developers, the onboarding felt surprisingly messy and not exactly welcoming.

"Took me a bit and I still didn’t really get it"
I gave it about a week because I figured maybe it was just one of those things that clicks after a little time. I poked around, tried to follow what I could, and kept thinking I was probably missing something obvious. But after several days, I still felt lost about how it all worked or what I was supposed to be doing. Maybe it’s great once you get past the learning curve, but for me it was just too hard to get into.

"Works well, but the privacy stuff could be clearer!!"
Cursor works well overall!! I haven’t had any major issues using it, and the security settings seem decent enough... but I’m still not totally sure what’s actually happening with my code and data?? I just wish the privacy info was explained in a simpler, more obvious way!!!

"Never heard back from support"
I reached out to support and never got a reply at all :/ Frustrating when you’re just trying to get some help.

"Wish the release notes were easier to follow"
I do like cursor and use it often, so I kind of regret not paying closer attention to the updates earlier. The app itself is solid, but the way changes get communicated can feel a little scattered, and sometimes I’m left wondering if something new is a bug or an intentional change.
I just wish the release notes were more straightforward, with a bit more warning when an update affects the workflow. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does get frustrating when I have to stop and figure out what changed on my own...

"Pretty helpful for everyday coding"
I’ve been using Cursor for a few weeks now, it’s been useful. It saves me time when I’m digging through files I barely remember or trying to clean up little bugs. The chat built into the editor is especially handy, and most of the time it gets what I’m trying to do. There’s something about it that just makes jumping back into a project feel a bit easier. It’s not perfect though. Sometimes it suggests code that looks fine at first but doesn’t actually work, so you definitely still have to review things. It can also feel a little slow here and there. But overall, for day-to-day dev work, it’s been a solid help.

"Didn't really work on my setup"
I tried using Cursor on my laptop, but it just didn’t play nice with my Linux setup. This and that kept acting weird, and a few basic things wouldn’t load properly. I didn’t really feel like spending hours messing with settings before I could even start coding. Maybe it works better on other systems, but for mine, it was just a rough experience.

"I tried Cursor for a few…"
I tried Cursor for a few days, the AI kept suggesting code that was either wrong or somehow broke things that were already working?! I ended up spending more time fixing its changes than actually getting any coding done. For me, it just wasn’t worth it.
